Annette has over 10 years of experience using hypnosis and has helped hundreds of people overcome issues, such as anxiety to live their best life, finally conquering their negative thoughts and vanquishing their inner critic to become the best they can be.

Annette MacCaul Hypnotherapy has been in practice since 2013. Annette offers hypnotherapy sessions online and in-person at her hypnotherapy clinic based at Unit 12, Winnall Valley Road in Winchester, Hampshire. She is also a hypnotherapy trainer and teaches hypnotherapy at diploma level.

Annette can help you change your mindset. She can show you how to develop coping strategies with hypnosis to overcome difficulties and issues that may be impacting your quality of life and happiness. Rather than focussing on problems, Annette can help you to identify the direction you wish your life to be heading and how you can get there by changing how you think about situations and how you see yourself. To help you achieve your goals and realise your preferred future she will work in collaboration with you, and together find solutions to the difficulties and issues that are impacting you.

Underlying stress and anxiety can be exacerbate many conditions, which can then manifest in a variety of ways. This may result in physical problems such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), psoriasis, headaches, etc. and can negatively impact on our sense of mental well-being. It may also impact on our sleep patterns, making it difficult to get to sleep or cause us to wake up during the night. Lack of sleep can leave us feeling irritable, unable to cope or to make decisions, and generally feel down and lethargic, leaving us feeling demotivated and unable to enjoy life.

Hypnotherapy seeks to reduce stress and anxiety levels and develop the tools to make positive change, such as developing more confidence, motivation or self esteem, or getting rid of fears/phobias. Hypnotherapy helps us control our negative thoughts and self-criticism. By creating a more positive mental attitude through hypnotherapy we change the negative thoughts that may otherwise hold us back, creating the right mental environment to deal with underlying stress and anxiety, so we can enjoy life again and rediscover our real self.

Sessions are generally held weekly to allow the subconscious mind time to process. The number of sessions needed will vary between individuals and this will be discussed fully with you during your initial consultation. As long as you are committed to make positive changes to your life hypnotherapy can help you. As with any therapy individual results may vary from person to person.
